My love for birding and wildlife photography started during the pandemic when I was living in San Francisco. A kind stranger on Nextdoor saw some pictures I had taken of the city with my phone and thought I had a good eye for composition.

She offered up an old camera she no longer used and encouraged me to give photography a chance. It took me about a month to get completely hooked, and it has been my favorite creative outlet ever since.
